Vegan Christmas Cake – the feeding
I finished the bake on Tuesday but I’ve been too busy to post the update until now.
It took 2 1/4 hours for the bake to finish and then I left the cake to cool in the tin for a few hours. You really need a day when you’re going to be around all the time to make this thing.

After it had cooled, I removed it from the tine and baking paper then brushed a little brandy all over it before wrapping in baking paper, tin foil and then putting in an airtight cake box.
I’ll be back next week with another brandy feed for this bad boy. It’ll need ‘feeding’ with the brandy once a week until we eat it at Christmas.
